• Description:
• In the second paragraph of Article 15 of the Decree on the sanctuary for animals living in the wild, it is stipulated that the ministry responsible for nature conservation concludes a contract with a natural or legal person that it selects on the basis of a public tender and that meets the tender conditions. The contract is concluded for a period of five years, with the possibility of an extension for the same period without re-tendering, if the person carrying out the tasks of the refuge still fulfills the tender conditions and his work in the past period has been professionally evaluated favorably. Transportation costs and performing the tasks of the shelter for sick and wounded animals and abandoned puppies that are not yet able to survive in the wild, and are taken from the wild because it is assumed that they will be able to live in the wild after veterinary care and temporary care, are covered from the budgetary resources of the Ministry.
