The FTIR microscope is primarily intended only for the analysis of microparticles such as microplastics, and it will also be used in other areash such as the analysis of building materials, coatings, in the field of cultural heritage in the analysis of artefacts and museum collections and in the field of biochemistry in the analysis of tissues and cells.

THE SUBJECT OF THE PUBLIC PROCUREMENT IS THE PURCHASE OF RESEARCH EQUIPMENT "INFRARED SPECTOMETER WITH FOURIER TRANSFORMATION AND MICROSCOPE (FTIR MICROSCOPE), AS RELEASED FROM THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SUBJECT PUBLIC PROCUREMENT. IT IS THE PURCHASE OF THE MOST MODERN TECHNOLOGY WHICH ALLOWS AN INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO DIFFERENT ANALYSISAND INDIVIDUAL ADJUSTMENTS REGARDING THE RESEARCH AREA. THE FTIR MICROSCOPE IS PRIMARILY INTENDED ONLY FOR THE ANALYSIS OF MICROPARTICLES SUCH AS MICROPLASTICS, BUT IN ADDITION IT WILL ALSO BE USED IN OTHER AREAS, SUCH AS THE ANALYSIS OF BUILDING MATERIALS, COATINGS IN THE FIELD OF CULTURAL HERITAGE AT ANALYSIS OF ARTIFACTS AND MUSEUM COLLECTIONS AND IN THE FIELD OF BIOCHEMISTRY IN THE ANALYSIS OF TISSUES AND CELLS.
