Description:
The municipalities of Slovenska Bistrica, Poljčane, Makole and Oplotnica are in terms of traffic accessibility in a favorable geographical position. Recently, there have been a lot of immigration to municipalities, as evidenced by the increase in the population and the expansion of settlements. From the point of view of the planned development of the municipalities of Slovenska Bistrica, Poljčane, Makola and Oplotnica, new trends should be included in the development according to the principles of sustainable development of places. In municipalities, economic activity is also expanding, tourism is developing, as well as the need to regulate transport routes and traffic. Coordination of all the needs and requirements of municipalities requires a holistic approach to achieve a change in travel habits, promote the use of public passenger transport, provide safe footpaths and cycling routes, and consequently higher quality of living, which will be obtained by the production of OCPS. The aim of the order is to prepare and produce the OCPS municipalities Slovenska Bistrica, Poljčane, Makole and Oplotnica, which, based on the vision formed, will be a quality and professional basis for planning transport infrastructure and the implementation of policies related to sustainable mobility and optimization of mobility in the municipality.
