- RENOVATION OF THE COASTAL STRIP OF PORTOROŽ BEACH. Leveling and elevation of the coastal strip is carried out. As part of major maintenance works for the public good, the beach manager wants to rehabilitate the beach areas in such a way that it will redirect rainwater directly into the sea with its falls and by raising the coastal angle to koto 75 cm Nmv (just like the other parts of the central beach in Portorož) so that this will prevent the beach from flooding at each higher sea tide. Due to the elevation of the southern part of the beach, it will be necessary to install a channel on the border between the plots, such as TECHNORAIN NEO 290 HV, through which it will collectsurface water from the northern part of the beach. The channel will be connected to the existing storm channel with a Φ 25 cm profile connector. Upon completion of the canal, a bridging ramp with a width of 2.00 m will need to be built to bridge the elevated part of the beach with the existing part. The resurfacing of the beach is planned with concrete C35/45 XS3 of an average thickness of 25 cm on a previously washed and cleaned surface with a jet of 60-90 Bars. The clean surface of the existing and new concrete must be sprayed with e.g. Elastostylom 34. New concrete surfaces must be troweled. The protective thickness of the concrete above the reinforcement must be min. 5 cm. Superintendentthe intended areas must be dilated to an area of 5.00 x 5.00 m by cutting the concrete with a crown saw to a depth of 6 cm (to cut the upper reinforcement) and filling the cut grooves with permanently elastic putty.
