- The aim of planned measures in the NRŠZ to manage the effects of climate change on wetlands is to reduce the risk of habitat and species of areas at the contact of the sea and land. Measures are intended to solve the flow of lagoon channels and a reduction in flood risk at high tidal and habitat arrangements in the Brakic Lagoon, which include measures to overpower the existing habitats intended to preserve the volume of habitat types as well as nesting and nutritional bird species. In addition to the growth of halophytic vegetation, elevated existing silt surfaces will also allow for improved bird nesting conditions.
