Description:
The purpose of the project is to provide access to appropriate satellite technology that will enable advanced data capture and digital models that will give decision makers to access to the most objective data on the environment and the production of integrated ecosystem analyzes. The emphasis on this project is to connect these knowledge and to install them in digital twins ecosystems using advanced satellite and information technologies. This will enable the actors in Kenya to model related physical phenomena, which will be able to serve in a uniform way to coordinate (often conflicting) interests between different sectors (water, agricultural, forestry, mining, energy, urban, etc.) at both local and cross -border levels. With new satellite technologies and digital models, Kenya will be able to observe, analyze and predict cross -border influences of building a dam on the Omo River in Ethiopia, which has a significant impact on water and energy sources and a biosphere on both sides of the border.
